About

“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important

than knowledge. Knowledge is limited.

Imagination encircles the world.”

Victoria began making films whilst studying BA Fine Art at Birmingham City University. Having had no previous formal education in the arts, Victoria found that her academic background along with her natural creative flair provided an ideal foundation from which to build.

All of Victoria's work is created solely by herself; she creates the concepts for the work, designs and makes the sets, costumes and props (with the exception of 'Minerva & the order of Phanes', which was the first time she collaborated with the fashion designer PSICLONE to create the costumes for the film.) Victoria also performs in all of her work, as well as shooting, directing and editing the films.

Much of Victoria’s film and art work is recognisable by its abundant use of metaphor, symbolism, themes of escapism, and the kaleidoscopic motifs, which she uses as a method of transforming something very simple into something that is both beautiful and hypnotic, much in the same way that a child looks at the world and creates elaborate fantasies from the simple things that surround them.
